The Child Protection sub-cluster in south Turkey conducted a family tracing and reunification workshop from 17 to 18 December 2015. The purpose was to orientate partners on FTR and agree on a common cross-border response. 38 participants attended from national and international NGOs, UN agencies and the Syrian CPWG. A plan of action was drawn up, including the following recommendations:
(i) Prioritize FTR in child protection case management
(ii) Identify FTR focal points in each organization
(iii) Standardize FTR tools and continue training partners in northern Syria.
