This is a 5-day training focussing on building skills and transferring knowledge to promote effective programming of child protection in emergencies work.
The training will have a special focus on the application and use of the Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action (CPMS).

WHERE AND WHEN?
The training will be held: Melbourne CBD – October 20th to 24th 2014

WHO IS IT FOR?
This training is designed for people already involved or likely to be involved in child protection in emergencies programming – either as a coordinator, practitioner and/or decision maker. The training will be particularly appropriate for staff from government, UN, and (I)NGO humanitarian agencies who want to strengthen their skills or strengthen their knowledge in the application of the CPMS.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The training is free of charge, but participants must pay their own visa, transportation and accommodation costs.
