Coordination Training

This is a 5-day training focusing on building skills and transferring knowledge to promote effective coordination of child protection in emergencies work. The training will have a special focus on strengthening co-leadership for coordination structures.
This training is designed for people already involved or likely to be involved in child protection in emergencies coordination – either as a coordinator or member. The training will be particularly appropriate for staff from government, UN, and NGO humanitarian agencies who want to strengthen their coordination skills or strengthen their involvement in coordination. Countries with or interested in co-leadership arrangements between government, UN and NGO agencies will be prioritised.
Two training events will be held this year, one in French and one in English –
• Dakar, Senegal, 16-20 June (French)
• Thailand, Bangkok, 1-5 December (English)
