Child Protection Rapid Assessment Training

The Child Protection in Crisis (CPC) Learning Network, with generous support from UNICEF, the global level CPWG and World Vision International, held a Child Protection Rapid Assessment (CPRA) Training of Trainers in New York from April 29 – May 2, 2015. The aim of the workshop was to increase the pool of trained individuals able to lead child protection rapid assessments in emergencies, working to strengthen the existing evidence base in these contexts. 25 participants from 9 different organizations (Save the Children, World Vision, RedR, IBCR, UNICEF, Childfund, Red Cross, Watchlist, UNAMID) and 2 academic institutions (University of KwaZulu Natal and Columbia University) attended, actively engaging with the CPRA materials and sharing learning, contributing the the success of the training.
